Ride and Drive : "Concours" Harness

The "Concours" Show harness is traditionally made from best quality English leather for the discerning driver. It is designed to show off your turnout to its best with fine strap work, lined and raised to catch the light and made to measure for correct fit and comfort. Can be made with full collar or breast collar in single, pairs, teams and tandems.

GENERAL Colours: black/patent or chestnut leather. Brass or nickel West End buckles with stainless steel tongues. (Nickel buckles at extra cost)

BRIDLE Leather lined winkers with a choice of shapes (hatchet, round or square) and rolled leather winker stays. Rolled throat lash. Fancy stitched, shaped, swelled noseband and facedrop. Choice of brass front browbands (clincher, ring, flat link). Fancy centre or lead filled brass rosettes.

REINS Leather with a choice of plain, padded or laced handparts. Chestnut leather.

BREASTCOLLAR Fully padded with soft leather and buckle safes. Lined, split neck strap, padded at wither. False martingale with drop to match facedrop.

NECK COLLAR Traditional straw filled collar with swept back top. Black patent leather with London Tan lining. Aluminium bronze hames, tugs and hame straps.

GIG SADDLE Built on laminated wooden tree with cantle, reinforced with metal plates. Shaped skirts and swelled flaps. Brass terrets and pedestal. Quilted and flocked full panel. Double stitched sliding backband with open tugs with buckle safes. Girth lay and bellyband buckle on both sides.

BACKBAND AND TUGS Double stitched sliding backband, open tugs with buckle safes. Girth lay and bellyband buckle on both sides.

BREECHING Fancy stitched with lined, raised and shaped loinstrap. Breeching seat padded with soft leather. Fully lined breeching straps.

TRACES Lined, raised and double stitched.

CRUPPER AND DOCK Fully adjustable lined and raised crupper with detachable linseed stuffed dock.

CRUPPER AND DOCK As single
